The weather actually turned out to be very good and we had clear skies for 90% of the time.
Thank you too for the collaboration - it was one of the most memorable days of my life. The initial site of Venus inching over the Sun's disk was absolutely stunning.
We also had between 500 and 1000 visitors to the telescopes on the lawn at the University below the webcam.
I am the one with the hat on the head explaining the mechanics of the transit.
